Have you looked into some coverdisks? I remember pilfering a viewer command from a The One disk that probably runs fine on 1.3. I just can't remember which

Early CU Amiga coverdisks (and indeed other magazines such as AF) used CLI IFF viewers quite often as part of their presentation. In particular there was a couple of small AmigaDOS commands I recall using around twenty years ago on PD compilation disks I made for friends at school, I don't recall the command names unfortunately.
What made these commands special was one command opened the IFF file, and the other one closed it, handy if you had a few commands in your script and want the image to stay active while the script is doing its thing and go away once it's finished. I think I got them from CU17 (Sep '91), but I could be mistaken. |
