blitz incbin..

yo!
is there any compiler directive or other trick to force blitz to place incbin:ed
binaries in chipmem?

i have no idea about blitz but you could try "section data,data_c", if blitz supports inline asm it should also support sections.

not using that syntax atleast
data is a reserved keyword in basic also

There should be a way. An Amiga BASIC that allows incbin but disallows "nofastmem" or "chipmemonly" would be a very, very stupid piece of software. Should be a manual with directives somewhere?

seems that the original commercial blitz which i use does not support any directives like that.. however, i just found out that AmiBlitz2 has got "chip" and "bss" directives, problem solved.. \o/
