Hi guys,

I found 2 items matching "gfa ass.." :-)
Packed them up and uploaded here http://www.stone-oakvalley-studios.c...s/gfa_pack.zip

Came from my kind of organized collectio:
Amiga_Random_ADF\GFA Assembler v1.5+ (Wb).adf
Collection_The_Boiler_Room\T1A\GFA_ASS.adf

Have fun :-)

Your welcome , please put it in the EAB FTP.
It was very close to lost it forever...
While searching it yesterday I found that the latest Atari ST version is 1.5 so I suppose that the latest Amiga version is also 1.5.
Can you cross assemble for Atari?

EAB FTP? Where is that to find? Just know the Zone.

The adf's from StoneOakvalley contain...

GFA-Assembler v1.4 and GFA-Assembler v1.5 for Amiga !!!

:::::::::::::::::::

GFA-Basic v3.52 for Amiga also seems to be the latest version.

:::::::::::::::::::

So what's left now? Maybe a PDF-manual for GFA-Basic and GFA-Assembler, that's only available for Atari ST.

:::::::::::::::::::

Cross assemble for Atari? You mean, if I can code for Amiga and then port it to Atari ST?

@Marcy
Have a look here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633

gfa_pack.zip has been added to 'Commodore_Amiga/App/Disk'.

I think that the Atari GFA assembler doc should be enough, for GFA it has already been asked here so do so search. I meant programming Atari ST on the Amiga that assemble Atari ST exe, like the Atari version can build Amiga exe. Kamel

Actually the "GFA Assembler v1.5+ (Wb).adf" disk is also seen as "GFASS.adf" in this BBS collection as: Collection_The_Boiler_Room\T4A\GFASS.adf

Only 1 byte difference between those disks.

The "Amiga_RandomADF" collection I have I found on usenet/easynews many years ago. It seemed to be quite disorganized and was probably from a private guy uploading his stash.

Other:
I have currently been working on a search engine project for the massive Amiga collection I have (and more) on this site:
http://www.stone-oakvalley-studios.c.../?page_id=3012

Here is for example all hits for "gfa" in the entire Aminet SET CD (52 pcs) collection as a beta output from that engine :-)
http://www.stone-oakvalley-studios.c...fa_export.html

In some weeks I might have the database ready for the massive Amiga collection I have online, it's about 8.3 million entries regarding filenames :-)
Aminet Set CD are about 2.0 million. Both bases should be useful when hunting stuff like this, especially when the filename is known.

Hello again,

the adf's supplied by StoneOakvalley revealed that there are 2 versions inside of the adf's. These are ...

GFA-Assembler v1.4 German
GFA-Assembler v1.5 German

So, what's left now?

GFA-Assembler in English language! So, the hunt continues again!

Maybe there are some here from Great Britain who decided to buy or to collect GFA software like GFA-Assembler in English. Different versions are welcome.

Regards,
Marcy
