Far too many. I have about a thousand I'd select.
Amiga games are the greatest ever. |

For me....
It has to be Shadow of the Beast.
http://hol.abime.net/?id=1891 Technically, it was a groundbreaking game in its day, and I still think it looks good today. Compare a lot of the early Playstation stuff with later games, and they don't hold the attention so well. Its ironic. Either SOTB is a testament to Reflections and Psygnosis's skill at developing software, or an indicament that few others managed to match Beasts technical ability in such jaw dropping fashion. |

very clever effects and colour used in that game. very nice graphical style, smooth animation, fantastic stuff for an OCS/ECS game http://hol.abime.net/?id=894 |

Yeah Lionheart was pretty special for an OCS game. I thought Ruff'n'Tumble looked great for an ocs game too.
Super Stardust looked awesome. http://hol.abime.net/?id=2212 And Tearaway Thomas get's it for the best looking character ever. http://hol.abime.net/?id=1326 Watching that little dog(?) jump about like a loony is graphical heaven. |

hehe I love Tearaway Thomas also but it's too fast!
Any amiga game with a copper-fade background does it for me (me loves copper-fades!) ^_^ |

Obviously the later AGA games have very good graphics but the OCS game I'd choose which really stands out is Elfmania which has truly exceptional graphics with such a limited colour palette.

Lionheart? I never understood what people find in that game. The graphics are so.... ugly!
As for good graphics, add all games by Cinemaware to the list. |

I don't suppose anyone here would add Turrican 1/2 (http://hol.abime.net/?id=1533 , http://hol.abime.net/?id=1535 ) or Speedball 2 ( http://hol.abime.net/?id=2047 ) to the list,would they?

Lionheart was great. It had nice backdrops, excellent scrolling, sprites with many FPS etc.
Super stardust was also great but a bit static. My vote though goes to : OnEscapee http://hol.abime.net/?id=2305 This is a hell of a game with excellent graphics, sound and playability. It was one of the games that made me think how great the Amiga is.... |

As for Lionheart, look at the tree on the right of this screenshot: One straight line upwards. "Great". |

What about the 15 levels parallax scrolling? The coppered background? The multiple palette used (600 colours simultaneously)? And all at 50 Hz! Congratulations! |
