Amiga inc have only missed the boat by about 10 years. No amount of Amiga branding will make this an Amiga.

I'm certainly not excited. I hate to say it but the Amiga has had it's day, and it was over a long time ago.

Its for those who care, those who don't will continue to run Amiga Emulators safe in ignorant bliss. It your choice and I salute you on that, go ahead, just don't knock someone else's choice.
So they want to run a crappy old decrepit OS with almost zero support from publishers instead of Mac OSX or Linux.
Riiiiiiight.

if anyone is silly enough to fall for A(holes)miga.inc bull they deserved to not only be knocked, or mocked but also beaten, berated, blasted, bullied, bantered, bitched and blown away... and thats only on the 'B' words...

well in the begining theres a mummy and daddy that hate each other very very much, so much so they have lots of angry sex together and hey-presto little miss confusion is concieved.

now about 20 years later she hooks up to a guy call Mass and they wouldn`t get married as she would be known as mrs mass confusion ... it was a sad day when they decided to end it... but as far as i am aware she is hoooked up with a guy called total... so its plain sailing from there.

me thinks...

Linux runs on a PC, Windows sometimes runs on a PC, even Mac OS runs on a PC.
WINUAE proves that the classic Amiga can be run on a PC so why can`t they make OS4 run on a PC?.

@Arnie

Its all About the PPC
(pointless proprietry controll )

lol no not really, but it leaves you to wonder....

dual core x86 = cheap and computationally faster than a ppc / G5x chip... no matter wich way you cut that mustard.....

the pc chip has had some good development (wich it drastically needed) IMHO is highly comparible to what an 060 felt like when i had it for my amiga.

the only sense that this ppc route makes: is to controll its distribution and limmit it in such a way (like OEM only) .... hmmmm..... realistically if you have a product you would be expected to manufactor it to the greater market.... personally I believe if they keep it to embedded ppc systems / technologies that way you would be forced to buy Official Amiga upgrades etc.... and who else knows what putred stinking little bit of pie bill-doulbe dick-mcewan and fleec-you-mossy have their thumbs in.

Yes... very Sad to See what's going on with Amiga/Commodore

Every Year or Two they Dig Up the Same old Crap.
Amiga Inc. has been a Pain in the A** for Years. That's really Awkward!

As for the "Commodore"-Brand: How Many Greedy Peoples and Companies have ripped out that Name?
Examples: Escom, Gateway2000, Tulip... the list is Endless. Are there no Laws against such a Shite?
The most recent "Coup" is a "High-End-Gaming-PC" blablabla...
Come On, I don't want to Play the latest "Shooter" on a PC with the Commodore-Logo on it. That's Blasphemy

I got my 7 Classic Amigas, and 4 C64's.
No Need for some Obscure Hardware.
And, as Zetr0 said: It won't materialise.

Anyway, I've added some Amiga Inc. Pictures for your enjoyment.
They are Dated around 1999, but are still True and Funny. (Or Ture & Sad - that depends)
