I won't have another go after all. Turns out I haven't had automatic switching enabled in my config so I don't know how audio and video got out of synch.

Well, your vid is the ultimate playthrough anyway.

I just did not get time to do the second course, enjoyed playing the first though and will probably carry on playing the game as its a fun golf game, bought back some memories that's for sure

Its a shame the save system is screwed up or would probably play it more often.

That's cool. Time will always be our enemy. It's a great game and I think I will also play some more courses. Really got into it again.

It looks like the only way round the save game issue is to emulate and use save states.

I haven't tested to save the game but I am wondering if maybe the issue was not fixed with the patch kindly made available by StingRay. Maybe worth a try

I tried the "SAVE"/"LOAD" option and it's working from HD with ROM 1.3.
There are 10 banks for saving purpose (from 0 to 9).

To be fair, I also tried to "SAVE"/"LOAD" by booting from the floppy and it's also working.
So, when you say :

It will not save on the WHDLOad version for me at all, it just crashes back to the main menu....

My floppy version the graphics where corrupt..

Hum, since you play with the whdload, you have an A1200 or an accelerated Amiga, don't you ?
