Wow, that was a crazy idea. I especially like the 'voice' done by the harddrive array That is real art!

I've done the playing low bit-rate samples using hard drive before in our office as a Joke.

We also have Raptor drives in the office which have windows in them and of course our RAID arrays can do "wind screen wipers".

Also Knight-Rider on the LED with the echo noise emulated using the hard drive motor.
