Ok, let's explain it like this : while copying with powercopy the game on a real floppy works, the ADF format can't support the copy protection used. So sorry, but it won't work.

Just saw this thread and had a look. Interesting protection, so far I had quite a bit of fun, check the attachment for a small teaser.

It's incredibly tedious as from memory every second track is re-encrypted with the same routine or a very similar one so you have to repeat that over and over!

That's completely correct. I didn't check the whole game yet, but so far it always is like this:

load encrypted track
use previously decrypted code to decrypt current track

I also saw some sneaky "store "hidden" data somewhere" routines so I suppose there will be some more fun later in the game.

Yes, Frank Neuhaus, who also created X-Copy, had real fun making protections.

Indeed. And I have fun beating it. He used some nifty tricks, I quite like how he triggers an address error exception (moves a long to an odd address) and calculates new decryption values in the exception. The patching of the address error exception vector is nicely disguised. Kinda cute.

Also, the decryption gets more interesting too, had to code an "intelligent" decrypter for some parts. Attached screenshot shows that part of the source.

I hope there'll be some more nice tricks used, so far it has been a lot of fun!
