Also remove the link in their post. Keeping it there potentially gives their site some search engine credibility by piggy backing off EAB.

I suspect something (a spam bot) woke a thread that the last post was mine, 12 years ago?
Cool.

VideoCD on CDTV forever!

Where’s the Laserdisc version of CDTV or CD32?

No compression artifacts, for one. Films with dark or heavily blue/red-tinted scenes on DVD all too often look like a mosaic.

Yet, you cannot have much video on a laserdisc. Around 30min IIRC?

On one side, yeah, thereabouts. Definitely a limitation, but one I'm okay putting up with.

I was just messing about with a recently acquired HDMI upscaler on my Laserdisc player! Audio is much better than the couple DVD`s that I have
Yep, you get 30mins a side for CAV but can see/pause every frame of that content and I got 52mins a side showing on a CLV disc of Terminator 2

The upscaler is a thirsty beast, wants 6V and on the bench PSU drawing 3.8A whats scary though is that it still wants 3.2A when its in standby mode!
