Do I really need it ?

2. How do I install it in the lastest ver of WinUAE ?
I don't have the reqd. graphics board
(selecting uaegfx does not help)
(I downloaded picass96.lhz)

3. Which is the best emulator to run Amiga games ?

If you want to have Grafix Card Support, you need it (make your Workbench look real nice with 16 or 32 bit color depth) and YES, the games with grafix card support will run faster, aeh, will run, cause without it, you´re not able to use games, which are designed for grafix card only

For HD and/or AGA games ---> WinUAE
For older ECS/OCS games ---> WinFellow

IN brief, most games dont support GFX cards, so Picasso will be useless to you.

Only newer games support them.

I agree, BUT if you want a nice looking workbench, there´s no way around P96 ...... AGA Workbench isn´t nice at all

You don't get it

What I mean is that the graphics card selection menu of
the P96 installation lists cards which my PC does not have
(I have a Cirrus 2MB). So I selected UAEGFX (since I was
using UAE) but after restarting the card was not detected
by the AmigaOS.

How do I make the installation successful ?

I did install P96 properly in an older version of UAE
a couple of years back on the same PC.

What dont I understand? you asked if games would go faster and I answered.

By teh way thsi question should go in PROBLEMS--> Emulators, not Amiga Scene. I promptly moved it.
