ramlib module seems to have a bug: If you start ViNCED-Prefs on OS 3.9 without the VNC: driver mounted and klick on "deny" when you are asked to insert VNV the system crashes.

I send your bug report to don_adan. This bug only appears with VNC or maybe with other volumes too ?

Recently I have removed the DonAdan ramlib module too - as I couldn't boot an almost vanilla OS 3.1 installation if it was present in the kickstart. I didn't have time yet to investigate whether it was solely the new ramlib which caused the problem, or whether there is a conflict with something else.

I have become somewhat obsessive about system time on systems that have no RTC, and a nice tool helping with this is this tool:
http://aminet.net/package/util/time/TimeKeeper It would be great if system time could survive reboots in general, and I suspect TimeKeeper somehow implemented as a ROM module would do the trick. Good idea? Bad idea? |

You mean version 41.2 from this post? I'm testing it since few hours, but it seems to introduce slight instability to my system, from time to time some application refuse to start, or system randomly freezes after 30 minutes of working correctly. Once I got a meaningful crash alert (see the attached screenshot), when trying to start Directory Opus 4.17pre21. Maybe there is some conflict with other patch or module - I just don't know, for me the potential gain from this module is just not worth the hassle of trying to figure it out what's wrong. Without knowing the system internals it could take literally weeks of testing...

I have a lot of patches in my system - but if I'm not mistaken, this is a NoGuru patch from MCP.
