hardware "pr0n"
Can I ask people how the use of the words pr0n, or ography on the titles and bodies regarding hardware affect the website regarding having a shit TON of hits on search engines of people looking for because of this?
I think it would be best to avoid the use of these words :/ Then again I could be just old and cranky this Easter afternoon |

But imagine their faces, when they see those pictures... they get even better things to see, then what they have been searching for!

Look what happens when you remove the word "Hardware"
Google search for strictly 18+ YOs only!!!! I think you can breathe a little easier now. |

It's not about people landing here wanting what my problem is, rather than robotic searches crawling the website for such words and impacting system performance. Then again I could be completely paranoid

I don't think it matters what sort of site you have these bots ar scanning pretty much every site.
I ran on online gaming site quite a few years ago and in the web stats there was a huge amount of activity from the google bot and such especially in the Forums. Steve. |

Why not just avoid the word instead? is there really anything wrong with "favourite hardware"?

Wow, much ado about nothing I would say. It's a nerdy insider here, nothing more. Google search for 'pr0n', 0 results for EAB on the first 10 pages. Maybe some ubergeeks will enter 'hardware pr0n' and get here. Well, I don't really care about them

Well I once file shared a video called doggy style p**s video, of my dog having a wee, must be a lot of dog lovers out there.
Personally I dont see the issue I just think its making a joke at our own geekiness, if someones googling away and for some reason is looking for something other than the inside of an a4000 they can always just close the window. |

Its not exciting enough Personally I think Zetr0 has a lot to answer for... he is almost insatiable although there are quite a few other Pr0n lovers on here. Besides if you want to find p0rN of the non-Hardware type, there are TV channels available.......or you can go get a Magazine or 6 Amiga Hardware PrON TV channel... now there's a thought.... lol (aka Youtube I spose) All a bit of silliness no harm done |

Eeh Zetr0, I am getting really worried about you and your unintentional remarks.
Poor Gary and Merlin were last seen fleeing from sight screaming NO, Not more probes Aarrgh since your last postings :- "with a bit of work, it might be possible to feed these signals and fool-arround with garry a little" and "I do appreciate that, I will give Merlin a buzz on the phone tonight as see what he would like to do =) I only need 20 minutes with it and my multimeter =D" Now that's got to be Pr0n with electronic equipment added for fun All the best M8 |

Supposed Zetr0isms
If I inject high voltage here the results are really impressive. I flip flopped a few times and the result multiplied. There's a problem with your multivibrator, let me take a look. Silicon On Saphire, resistance is futile and oh so shiny. The term Hardware Pr0n isn't an issue, I couldn't care less about people searching for , it's teh internets after all, it takes all types. |
