GVP A1291 SCSI module internal channel 2
I've noticed theres a place for 40 pins in the GVP Jaws II SCSI expansion marked SCSICH2. Has anyone tried to mount an internal drive through this?

From looking at the board pic, it's SCSICN2 (CN short for connector). There's also an 8-pin connector (maybe marked SCSICN3 ?) next to it. Maybe you'd need to connect ribbon cables to both to connect an internal SCSI drive. Perhaps GVP designed it that way because one longer connector just wouldn't fit on the PCB?
You could try figuring out the pinout of those two connectors. Use a multimeter to check which pins correspond to pins of the external SCSI connector. |
