4 player adapter games

I found an interesting thread about list of 4 player games, here is the 'summary'
Code:
Super Skidmarks (8 players with serial linkup) dl cars on aminet
Blitzbombers, Max Rally and Kickoff2 seems to support it,
Hired Guns
Gauntlet 2
Bratwurst - on aminet
Master Blaster 2 - on aminet, Dynablaster, Bug Bomber
Minerunner - Loderunner aminet
Zerberk
Monsters of Terror AGA
Poweroids - Asteroids with 4 players.
AirTaxi, on Aminet
Viper (on aminet) is a fun multiplayer snake, keyboard only
6-Tris - Tetris, but for up to 6 players.
are there more?
I think that some games used different/special pinout, or do they all use the same adapter?

Other 4 player games are:
Traders
Fourmaze demo (found on aminet)

And not by 4 player adapter, but serial linking of two amigas:
Lotus2

It seems Gauntlet 2 has the 3rd & 4th joysticks "swapped around" compared to WinUAE, I assume it's a bug in the game rather than in the emulator?

>are there more?

Worm Wars is meant to support it, it is broken in V8.62 but I have fixed this and V8.63 will be released in the next few days.

My list should be pretty complete and is still actively maintained.

Ah, I did not remember (or did I ever know?) that what daxb linked was your site.

Then, perhaps one GM would kindly edit the first post and include a link to:

So have you really tested that this game supports 4 player adapter?

I had also made a list four years ago without seeing this thread or any thread in EAB about this issue. I mainly used search engines in HOL and LemonAmiga to find them.
http://relay.pp.fi/Amiga/A4000/A4000...ter/index.html

Why I really wanted to wake this thread up was because some of you may not have noticed the latest game to support 4 player adapter is now Fourmaze (full) that was released in aminet during 2013.

Thanks for your list. I should point out that Worm Wars has a maximum of 4 players not 5, also you could update the year to 2013.

I released a new version of the list, could a moderator update the first post to include the proper links? Thanks.

You can use my list, it's free (as in freedom). I can supply an Excel/OpenOffice spreadsheet if you need.

Many games on your list do not support four joysticks, they use a nullmodem connection or keyboard controls. I did find a few I didn't know about though - thanks.

Can anybody confirm or deny that Payback supports a joystick adapter? Does it have some multiplayer melee mode or something like that?

Also, I can't find the following titles from Hanzu's list, can anybody help:

Camel Racer* (CDTV/CD32)
Gangster Pursuit* (CDTV/CD32)
Qatbol (OCS/ECS) (1990)

Edit:

(found "Space Power" in the meantime)

Bah, forgot to add Smash T.V. despite the fact it's been on my todo list for ages. The list has been updated again, see links in previous post.

Edit:

Right after uploading, I found a download for Space Power and updated the list again. If you grabbed it in the few minutes it was online without the "Space Power" entry, please download again. Sorry.

Projectyle can be added to the list (according to Amazing Computer Magazine, issue August 1991, which featured another instruction about how to build a 4 player adapter).

Ok, some questions about the adapter.

I see you just have to connect 6 pins for each joystick (4 directions + fire + ground), all fine and good.

But some of those games have 2 button support (Super Tennis Champs for instance). There's no way to make the extra 2 joysticks use a 2nd button?

Also, will this adapter/cable work with Mega-Drive pads without the +5v pin connected?
