logic analyzer function
is it possible to add a logic analyzer as a new program feature in WinUAE or as a seperate programm which can be connected over an programminterface to the virtual port pins on an amiga in WinUAE?
What I want is to measure the signals on the port pins from the CIA=Complex Interface Adapter. (serial, parallel port, keyboard, disk drive, joystick, mouse...) I want program the TimerA CIA-A or TimerB CIA-B in assembler. How can I check the programmed timer? I'm inspired from Arduino Simulator "Virtronics" http://virtronics.com.au/Data/Simula...%20Arduino.pdf and http://lallafa.de/blog/2015/09/amiga...st-can-you-go/ |

I am not sure if this is useful because even when emulated Amiga program sees properly timed CIA access, from real world observer point of view it may look really weird, like instantly changing state or taking max 1 frame to change..
You are never going to see real-time real hardware like IO pin behavior when using software emulators and when it is measured outside of emulator EDIT: UAE can tell when IO pin change happened (or will happen) but that timing info is not in sync with real-time.
