Hi there M8, I don't know if Amigakit.com sell those but if not, Airey36 on ebay does as in this set of screws for the 1200, much better than trying to fit the wrong sized screws and causing problems.

I measured a screw from a new old stock ESCOM A1200 case using a cheap caliper that's precise to about +/- 0.1mm. It's an oval head screw, 10.5mm long, the head is 5.4mm wide, the threads are 3.0mm wide at the widest point, and there are approximately 3 threads per 3.3mm or 4 threads per 4.5mm.

Are the screws the same length in the front and back of the case?

From memory, mine were all the same.

Were there any screws (apart from the floppy screws) on the back?
I thought they were front and sides only.

There are three screws along the front of the case and two in the sides, underneath the front corners of the widest section of the case. The ones at the back are for holding the floppy drive and don't hold the case together. The three at the front are slightly shorter than the two on the sides. The difference is less than 1mm from memory, but if you mix them up you'll get small bulges or cracks at the front of the case which can easily be seen.

I guess it's possible that some cases had shorter screws in all positions making them all the same, but none of my 4 A1200s were like that.

And I asked because I've seen A1200s with those bulges at the front. =)

It was the same on my C= A1200 anyway, I checked it specifically the first time I opened it since I had previously had an C128, with different lengths of screws, therefore my C128 case had the famous bulges..
