What the f...?

I ordered a new Amiga game from Spain called "Cuba 1898". When I wrote in the subject line at Paypal: 'Cuba 1898 Boxed (Amiga 4ever!)', That was a thorn in the side of the US Federal Government! Message in my Paypal account:

"Access to your account has been temporarily restricted.
You may be buying or selling goods or services that are regulated or prohibited by the US Government.

That's why we want to learn more about your business and your recent transactions.

You must take action on your account. Some features in your account will be restricted until you've taken action on your account. You'll get access to these features again once you complete them. "

Have written two times, what is it about! No Answer!

Since when is Spain in Central or South America? Apart from that, you would then ban a lot of games! Absolutely ridiculous, the whole thing!

Cuba is currently under trade restrictions/embargo so the fact that your subject line contained the word "cuba" means that it automatically gets a lock put on it. Just answer their questions and hope they give you your account back.

You mean jojo073's game as promoted here: Cuba 1898 - my new game?

Oh, in which he completely edited / removed all his posts in a hissy fit (like numerous other threads) after thinking he deserved 1st place in the "EAB Game Competition", that it was somehow rigged and then proceeded to slag off other developers / all involved; nice deduction there

Well, besides being a less than average "Backbone" game as per usual; guess he's not really getting much revenue via PayPal due the game's title... hate to say it, but that's karma for ya

OMG, and they call such thing "IA" ...
A simple comment in PayPal for a game from Iron Gate (jojo073) is leading to such stupid thing....
It's a mega-super-joke !!!
Sorry for you NeoHippie2016 .
A good reason for using other payment method. Thanks for the info.

There is a simple solution NeoHippie2016; don't write "Cuba" in the subject line, message body or comments...

I don't know, just put "C 1898 Boxed (Amiga 4ever!)" or something

It's worthy of a « banana republic * »

* This expression was invented by the American writer O. Henry in 1904 to designate a dictatorial and corrupt regime. At that time, American companies producing fruit in Central America paid bribes to managers to promote their activities, as did the United Fruit Company, an American banana company. (source)
