WHDload problem

hi everybody,
i just installed the german version of monkey island to harddisk using a whdload-installer.
when trying to run the game i get an error:
"Can't allocate exec-memory" on the wb-screen.

Could you help me out to fix this (is possible)?

i only got a stock amiga 1200.
that's 2mb memory, right?

i just tried skick, but my harddisk is not accessable/responding after the reset... is there a way to boot WB when using a softkicker?

The game is a 1meg game, then it needs to softkick the Kickstart which is another 256k, then Dos and WHDload need their memory.... Either try booting with no startup-sequence, and disabling DF0: and CC0: on your early boot up menu. If that fails, just go and buy a ram board, which, you really should have anyway.

Yah, the memory is kinda short for WHDLoad

But you may also try to leave out the PRELOAD option, maybe that helps to run it

yeah, PRELOAD wouldnt work at all, since you'd need like 5MB to preload all images...
