Hmm.. rattus, if you are picky enough about the yelllowing i'd avoid it too.. the worst thing about it is that it's irregular. If it was all regularly yellowed, its bearable. But in thsi one it stands out a lot.

Then again, I'm a collector and I'm too picky about computer cosmethics

Prices for new or almost new A600s are around the 20 quid. That is for systems without HDs or memory expansions.

The best way to deal with eBay is to be patient. Never buy whatever thing comes in front of you first!

I chased an SX64 for about 4 months until I got the one I wanted at the price I wanted

Unhappy

you're right, I didn't notice the yellowing that much at first and i think it will bother me a bit. I think I will give this one a miss- I mean there might be another A600 thats perfect for me just around the corner

Just so you know, I asked the seller fella about memory expansion and it has 2MB chip mem but no HD.

Akira, where in the world can you buy new A600's for 20 quid? The nearest I found was www.amigadeals.co.uk at £50! I always thought that amigas would be dirt cheap but it turns out that the components are going up in price due to lack of demand!

Anyway guys, thanks for all your help! I will keep an eye out for that perfect A600

Well 've seen some in ebay being sold by.. lemme check my ebay favorites... Tehse are some recommended odl computer/videogame sellers:

comtique (these use to get new A600s)
vandermon

I remember seeing that guy selling new A600s for about 20 quid. Uukrul bought his a600 like new for about 20 quid!

Be patient and you'll score the perfect A600 All you will need to do to it is to spray it with a bit of Flower by Kenzo for that extra touch

Comtique has dropped his prices!!

http://www.vintagecomputer.co.uk/com...ct/CS1001.html

for 16.99

@rattus: Ask for a picture of the A600 before buying it (average cosmetic condition doesn't sound good to me )

There you go, Comtique delivers the goods! They use to have good condition machines. Overseas shipping SUCKS (they are thieves with the costs) but inside the UK it would all be good.

I really like the smell of new Amiga computers

I've paid 30 fucking dollars of shipping costs for a Snes screwdriver that costs 2.50 $ (from USA).

Ahh, the dreaded nintendo screwdriver!

You should have got it from a hongkonese shop like lik-sang.

Comtique like to overcharge for S&H costs a damn lot. I always, ALWAYS ask for shipping before bidding/buying. They like to make a difference on S&H costs, them scammers!
