Ashes of Empire
Does anyone remember this game?
I remember getting my first proper wage packet and going straight to the local independent games store (remember them) and buying Ashes of Empire It came with a video tape (very rare for computer games), paper key tags and lovely glossy books. I bought the game, simple because of it's packaging and description, and what a brilliant strategy game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashes_of_Empire Has to be my all time favourite on the Amiga |

It wasn't the strategy game i saw however Anyone here remember what i'm talking about and maybe has a link? i saw it on some tv program |

Funny, I'm currently in the process of making my "Midwinter II" review and thought about its quasi-sequal "Ashes of Empire".
I never had it for my Amiga but I have a DOS version. I haven't played it in ages and I remember having more fun with Midwinter II. I should try it again... |

Are you thinking of Starlord? A very late release and not really finished. On a sad note, Mike Singleton passed away a few years ago. A big loss, his Lords of Midnight was one of my favourite Spectrum games.
