Scalos issues?

I seem to notice issues lingering in scalos 41.7 and 41.8 that i've neer seen anyone online complain.

1. Information box is slow to bring up and for some reason, right clicking on scalos prefs icons doesnt work.

2. Whenever I install scalos as loadwb replacement, my amiga hangs with either a #8000 0004 or 0003 guru.

3. 41.8 installer wont work

4. Can't change stacksize of icons

You could study the package AIAB where is it Scalos v41.8 works well, you can change the stacksize (you must use designated values) or have a screen RTG.

Yes I agree, however it seems that recent versions of scalos seem to have trouble saving icon tooltypes and such

In fact, Scalos with the Stack behaves strangely, if for example you give a value "8000" it will not be accepted and will be replaced by the default value "8192". If you write a value instead 10000 or 100000 it is accepted and stored

In any case, if you need to always have the right Stack you can use the utility StackAttack, this utility will set the right Stack for you automatically -

I have installed stackattack now, now I have a new problem, the various scalos prefs aside from the main one dont work anymore, just crashing with "Failed to create group_plugin"

Could there be a step by step on how to install 41.7/8 properly?
