[Found: Assassin] 2D platform game maybe in the style of Turrican
I have some distant memories from when I was a little kid of my elder brother playing a 2D sidescroller game on the Amiga 1200, that may or may not resemble Turrican. It may as well be any of the Turrican-games if my memory happens to trick me, but now on to the specifics of that game:
I think I remember something like a section in the game where there was a boss (I don't actually remember the boss in any detail whatsoever), and the character you controlled (a man i suppose) used a special power up that affected the whole screen. I think the character faced the camera instead of left- or right, and shot missiles all over the screen. I thought it was very cool. Bear in mind that this also can be my mind playing tricks on me. I can't remember anything more from this game; he may just had borrowed the game from a friend/classmate for a day (he got his Amiga in 1993). Last edited by ReL0aDed; 26 June 2019 at 11:37. |

It could be a game like Strider, but I believe the guy you controlled used a kind of special attack (imagine how it's like using special attacks in Golden Axe). I don't have many clues, details or much more to rest on, so I'll wait and see what happens in this topic.

I don't think it's neither of those two games; I have a feeling the game was more science-fiction like (I remember my brother borrowing Shadow Dancer on the Sega Master System before he had an Amiga).

Cool, nice one. Don't forget there is also Assassin Special Edition.

Yeah, I just found out about the Special Edition. My brother may or may not have been playing the Special Edition some 25-26 years ago, but I have no doubt it is one of the Assassin games.
