Mapping HID-compliant game controller

Is it possible to map the extra buttons on my HID-compliant game controller(USB gamepad)?

Its a cheap one with no software.

no. you need some sort of profiling software in order to remap buttons.

your only option is to remap buttons from within each program that you use. if the program supports it.
