DaemonClaw: Origins of Nnar

I _assume_ that this game could also get an Amiga release. At least the website speaks of "Amiga graphics" and "famous Amiga musician": https://bitbeamcannon.com/daemonclaw/

Either way, the game looks fabulous!

I guess so, becuase it clearly states: "It was initially prototyped on an Amiga, but is first being fully developed on modern platforms, but the plan is to finish a classic Amiga version once the game design and graphical assets are all finished in the creation of this version for modern platforms."

LOL, when I visited the site an hour ago it just had a "Lorem Lipsum" text then. :-) Now, thanks for the update.

If you want more info on this game there is a huge series of “making of” videos on the bitbeamcannon YouTube channel.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL5...hOZN_MmWreflmw

Look for videos in the “Creating a game in Construct 2” series.

Highly recommended

So am I and I though those videos were intended to be private for patreons. Maybe their secrecy expired?

No, there are videos that are private Patreon videos and some are available in public on youtube.

The patreon page has mixed private and public videos. Afaik the videos marked as 'private' do remain that way.

*edit: ah, clydos was faster than me

I think there are two sets of videos, the YouTube ones and the Patreon ones with the Patreon videos diving even further behind the scenes, more like a “fly on the wall” of the bitbeamcannon creative process.

Extremely talented pixel artists. I love how they are integrating copper into the overall art. While many did it technically before. Here its a completely cohesive piece of art.

update about this one
it's interesting they opened a Kickstarter page two days ago, and the funds min target is already widely achieved

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...onclaw?lang=en

EDIT this cut is also interesting to share here, dated 14 September :

"What happened to the Amiga version?
BitBeamCannon's plan is to make an Amiga version of DaemonClaw built using Metro Siege's game engine (Engine9000). With Metro Siege still in development, this version of DaemonClaw will come later. Rest assured the Amiga version will also feature a unique secondary playable character and take full advantage of Amiga's hardware capabilities."

It was never meant to be released first on the Amiga. After Metro Siege is done the same programmer will do Daemon for what I am quite sure will be AGA.
