bogus out of disk space messages

Ho,
have the following problem. Have a BBS software to run in to me at the upload always said, the HD was full. There are still 200Gig free. What can I do to be recognized correctly?

(moved, absolutely nothing to do with winuae betas or emulation. better read first post first.)

This is common problem. Most older applications correctly handle free space values up to 2G (max 32 bit signed value), there is no generic fix.

Toni is right. If it is Ami-Express just make sure your upload dir is on a smaller disk and then you can use scripts or manually move the files to a larger directory for download later.
