What is the best OS to emulate A600 (?)

Hi guys!

Pls, I would like to know if the "Workbenchs 3.1" & "ROM v3.1 rev 40.68" is compatible with the "A600". I would like to know if the "OS 3.1" is recommended or better the "OS v2.1".

I would appreciate any clarification.

As long as you have enough memory, you should be able to run WB3.1/KS3.1 or newer 3.1.4 on any both A500 and A600. If you are talking about emulation, you can very easy add memory, if you have real hardware, you will need more then 1MB chip memory that A600 ships with to do anything useful with your Amiga.

ClassicWB 68k and GAAE are specially adjusted for A500/A600 with only memory upgrade.

No, 40.68 is not compatible with A600. 3.1 is, but it's not 40.68. Each Amiga model has its own ROM. You need an A600-specific 3.1 ROM. The version displayed will be 40.63.

Now I use this ROM: "ROM v3.1 (A500,A600,A2000) rev 40.63 (512k)".
