Forceing NTSC CD32 to boot in Pal

Hi,
i have a US version of a CD32, but would like to use it with Pal tv.
I know, i could use the eary startup menu, but its not that convinient to hassle with mouse every startup.
I remember, 5-8 years ago i read something about cutting some connection loose from motherboard to boot by default in Pal.
Or is there a possibility to add a switch to change from one to another setting?
Thanks.
