Where did you get your image from? FTPServer? Zone?
Which version of WHDload? What tooltypes are in the Icon? What specification is your Amiga? (Chipset, RAM, CPU). |

Its ok. Got it working now. Fine on my real A1200 but not when I was installing it in Winuae? It's a mystery but not that important now. Cheers anyway.

Sorry to interfere, i've just noticed there's a DX version of SSF2.
I got one "unnoficial" version from ftp://grandis.nu It's named "Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (1995)(U.S. Gold)[m Rochabian][v1.1][CloneCD]" I'm not sure if it's the version you were talking about, since i can't make it work under WinUAE. |

Hmmm, it seems i can't manage to have it working under WinUAE.
Do i need to run it on real hardware? |

Bump
Doesn't work for me. The amiga christmas tree version is corrupt (only 2.6mb) so you can't open it. I was able to find a different copy of SSF2AGADX_CD32_V1.1.ISO from ftp://grandis.nu/Commodore_Amiga/Mis..._CD32_V1.1.ISO (5mb) which at least seems to open, however on both emulation and real CD32 it restarts after the splash screen. Is there any way to get this working? Is version v1.0 available anywhere? Thanks in advance. |

Boo Boo gave me some advice on this, and I managed to burn an ISO of Super Street Fighter II New Challengers DX that works just fine on my real CD32 (essentially by stripping all of the ISOCD options down to the bare minimum).
It's not quite the same as previous releases (no option to view intro, no splash screen with credits etc) but the game appears to work just fine. Here it is if you wanted to try it yourself. I got it wrong, the version on the Zone (ftp://grandis.nu/Commodore_Amiga/Mis..._CD32_V1.1.ISO) works just fine. What I didn't understand is that you have to hold down RED until the console reboots and the Capcom screen appears. Last edited by earok; 23 February 2014 at 00:48. |
