Thanks for the prompt reply, I'll wait for the full deal once its out..

My collection is a right mess, something even remotely organised would be very welcome

Paul..

Ok, I'll put you on the list of people to mess / play about with and give feedback before I make it fully public

Decided to have another quick scan through all my title / screenshots today one last time

Found one screenshot that needed changing; Simon the Sorcerer II - The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe AmigaCD

When scrolling through via WinUAE, the screenshot was *slightly* out vertically when compared to "Simon the Sorcerer" & "Simon the Sorcerer [AGA]".

Attached to this post

The "full pack" uploading to the EAB File Server under "/~Uploads/DamienD" ATM.

...probably worth grabbing this again as since completing this title / sshot pack back in mid December I've added another 10 - 15 games so it's now been updated to reflect my current 2300 configurations / games.

@Toni

In one of the winuae GUI Screenshot windows would it at all be possible to attach/play mp4 files from your HDD?

Emumovies have 1000's of Amiga video Snaps in mp4 format, Just thinking out load, it would be cool if a video preview of each game can be shown inside the winuae GUI?

Technically it is relatively simple to implement because video player that uses windows codecs already exists (genlock video).

I take it the video filenames would have to match the game filename?

Toni could just implement the same structure as Title & Screenshots i.e. the file be named "___Video.mp4" or whatever.

And how about GUI layout? I want exact specs

EDIT: and obviously I need few example files.

Re GUI layout... I guess one of the screenshot windows would do. Making an extra area on top of the current screenshot gui areas would be overkill I think. The only issue with that is the videos would.possibly me too small, defeating the purpose.

As for example files I'll send you a pre made emumovies file and one I've recorded myself using the built in recorder with techsmith codec later today

I am not sure if splitting screenshot space vertically is good idea (both screenshot and video becomes small) and there must be some way to disable videos because I expect not everyone wants to seem them.

Toni,

What about the possibility to use animated gif ?
(actually gif cannot be used as Boxart, Title or SShot)

Here is a quick example as well as in attachment the animated gif

GIFs look to static. Full mp4 videos would look better.

Hopefully clicking on the video gui box would change it from screenshot 2 to video 1 and vice versa

Also, I guess some option to disable videos would be viable by an option in miscellaneous tab...

It depends on the gif file of course. And it was only a rough example.
Here are more polished/smooth one :

I didn't propose the animated gif instead of the video
Personally, I like the portable mode of WinUAE and in general an animated gif is lighter than a video, thus it fits better in an USB stick.
