Exclusive Levels in Game Demos
So, we are talking special levels that don't make it into the final game normally featured on coverdisks...
one that springs to mind is:- Exile - Amiga Power Coverdisk 3 http://amr.abime.net/issue_3_coverdisks know of any others? Last edited by Djay; 18 August 2011 at 01:11. Reason: removed incorrect reference |

I think there was a silly putty one on CU amiga
Rick Dangerouse II one (think it may have been amiga format) Turns out it was the one http://amr.abime.net/issue_311_coverdisks for Rick Dangerouse II. Another edit later and its Putty http://amr.abime.net/issue_597_coverdisks, pretty sure it was exclusive as when you interacted with some object a copy of CU amiga would drop down. The Amiga Format Cannon Fodder demo (called Cannon Soccer) on a Christmas issue counts, I would have thought.

The Alien Breed 3D demo had a level that didn't appear in the full game. However, the demo had a lot of other things that didn't apear in the full game, such as proper Gigeresque Alien enemies.

Sorry, I completely forgot to check... I guess I will going to bed early today .
Anyway, I believe the demo available here: http://www.nemmelheim.de/graftgold/downloads.html is the same. At least, when you start, it reads "one-ship taster", which I guess is similar to single ship taster. Perhaps all the demos available are actually the same. |
