SASI drive option for Tecmar T-Disk?
I'm trying to get the emulated Tecmar T-Disk to work. The release notes say to select the SASI drive type option. However, the only drive type options available in the HDF setup dialog when T-Disk is the selected controller type are SCSI-1 and SCSI-2.
The drive seems to be recognized, but will not complete format. It runs the bad block scan until track 2400 or so, and then fails with I/O error -115. Using WinUAE 3.2.1, Stock Amiga 1000 config, KS/WB 1.1, Tecmar T-Install software v1.2. The RAM and clock parts of the T-Card are recognized and functional using this driver software. Thanks! |

Do you see the Tecmar in Expansions/SASI?

It is a bug. SASI options were not visible when Tecmar or Xebec was selected.
http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.7z fixes it (or manually replace "SCSI" with "SASI" in config file, it is GUI problem only) |

I am emulating the T-Disk and am having some trouble getting it up and running, but realized that I need the T-Install software. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I installed the software onto my Workbench 1.1 disk and when I rebooted, AmigaDOS complained that it could not find T-Config. So I renamed T-Config.script to T-config (on my WB disk, not the T-Install disk) and put that file in the S directory. I rebooted again and nothing happens.
I had a look in T-Config and it looks like it references two files (InstallDevice and DefaultDisk) which are not found on the T-Install disk. And from what I read, these files are supposed to make a blank window appear, and that window would initialize the T-Disk. These files are missing, so I can't use the T-Disk.
