Yeah I bought it on eBay. Thought the price was a bit high but I'm seeing similar auctions go at higher prices so it wasn't so bad after all.
The price of the Kickstart 3.1 roms sounds decent. Especially as you might have some more support than on something bought on eBay. Don't know about the ACA card. Found this on Vesalia: http://www.vesalia.de/e_aca1221.htm The review by Dan Wood of the Vampire II sounds amazing though. I saw this about the Vampire II for A1200 http://www.majsta.com/modules.php?na...index&catid=10 Hope he figures out a solution for that |

€240 looks quite expensive.
As I understand the Vampire II is a lot quicker. It runs like 100 Mhz or something and will probably become faster in the future. It also has 128mb, HDMI and MicroSD and some other advantages as shown in the video by Dan Wood. Ofcourse it's not available yet for the A1200 but the A600 is 150 euro's so I would wait until the A1200 gets boring and then maybe buy the Vampire II for A1200 when it becomes available. |

Yep, I had considered waiting for the Vampire for the 1200, but many seem to think it won't happen...

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy an A600 with a Vampire II?
You will also get all the extra stuff. Been preparing for the miggy to arrive. - Got workbench floppies with Classic Support - Built in an old Compact flash card reader - Got a PCMCIA Compact flash card - Gathered a bunch of links - Installed WHDLoad on an emulated Amiga |
