My journey of a retro collection - Part 1 (Amstrad/C64)

Quote:
Some time back now I did a big retro collection article which featured the Amiga and the Amstrad CPC 6128. Although I felt it was an impressive collection to show off, it was nothing compared to what I'm about to show you today. After a recent chat with ManCrates, in a reflection of my early years and to reminisce about the items which made my generation better than the rest. I decided to get my act together and to write up a two part series of my generation and what made that era so good for me.

Very nice article Neil, that took me down memory lane. Thanks for sharing your experiences and collections, not to dissimilar from mine. Although I never owned an Amstrad CPC growing up, a good friend of mine had one, we played many games of Lords Of Chaos, along with Treasure Island Dizzy and some of the Roland games.

Oh and I think you're right about Codemasters. That's not nostalgia talking, that's common sense. They innovated a lot more frequently back then

A floor covered with treasured boxes, that's just tempting fate. Did that come with a wide no-coffee perimeter?

I had more bad luck putting the tapes back, the amount of times one would fall and knock the others down
