Anyone interested in seeing amiberry ported to android they are looking for donations to purchase the visualgdb for android to make the port easier.

They're about £35 away.

what are the main differences between amiberry and uae4arm?

Amiberry is actively developed currently. Is upgraded compared to uae4arm with a lot of newer features. Has much better pad support, can generate and recognise WHDload games from the lha archive. Take a look at the following pages.

Last holidays I got nvidia shield. Will wait for fix until trying amiga emulation on it. (Actually I've already tried, but only by using RetroX emulator)

I can’t get write access to my hdf system! I’m using the beta version from the play store and noticed I can not copy, extract, move anything from my external drive to the system!
I also can not get the cd drive to work! Every time I load any type of iso format, it does not show up mounted. I am guessing that it has something to do with not having any write access. I am using a rooted device and everything used to work on my Nvidia shield, but after I woke up one morning to my device saying successfully upgraded, uae crashes!

So I had to use my other device.
How Can I get write access from my external drive to my Amiga
and get the cd working so I can install my apps?
If it helps I’m using full classicwb abime 3.1 workbench.

ignore my previous message, i got it working by transfering all my files to \storage\0\Android\data\=(WHATEVER THE NAME OF UAE4ARM IS)=\files

all is working now except the cd roms!

for the first time in months i am now in and playing on my amiga.

still waiting for amiberry for android so i can get my good experience back.
uae4arm is dead for good on the nvidia shield. until amiberry, i can now enjoy uae4arm on my android box.

But I still need someone here to help me on why non of my cd ISO’s are working for uae4arm so if anybody knows why or what I need to do to get them to show up, that would be amazing!

... also forgot i can edit messages! lol sorry for double post, i was rushing these messages.

I found one bug , all of my android devices (phone,tablet,AndroidTV):
The mouse cursor laggy,and slow,and not moving perfectly in the games.
I used physical Bluetooth mouse.
In previous versions I did not see this error,BT mouse working perfectly.

There are 5 Mouse speed settings, in Game ports TAB.

Yes I agree default mouse speed is too slow. But increase it to your liking.

Yes, i know. There are about 500 pre-configured hdf files,and
the mouse speed was 0.5 in all configurations. This value was perfect in previous versions,but now, the mouse not working on my tablet,phone,and Shield TV.

Not in Play Store.. is this sideloaded?

Updated the 10303 version,but the mouse issue still exists.
I noticed that, when I move the mouse very slowly,the cursor work perfectly.
When I move the mouse normal speed,the cursor is laggy,and it stop moving,then jump.
I tried setup the movment speed,and mouse acceleration in SDL menu,but no luck.

subscribe to the beta program in the Play store,and install the latest version,and backup the apk on your phone/tablet.

Seeing the latest UAE4ARM now works with ShieldTV I have been messing around with it a bit, which brings me a few questions for you?

Custom controls, are all amiga controls mapable to any buttons on the shield tv controller? Trying to bind any 2 amiga keys to both left trigger and right trigger fails to work for me? Only seems one trigger can work at the same time...?

Are all CD32 inputs mapped out? All 4 colors from cd32 controller are available, but where are the rewind/fastforward & Play button? They are not functional as default cd32 quickstart as far as I know?

A few more minor tweaks can make UAE4ARM the perfect Amiga android emulator...

As an alternative, they have recently been adding a lot of updates to the RetroArch Amiga emulator !! So you can use shaders, swap between joystick and mouse with a button, auto screen centering, and it has Cycle Exact !

I haven't found anything yet that doesn't run.
