1. Kick Off 2
2. Player Manager 3. Dungeon Master 4. Elite 5. Goal! Purely chosen on the games I played the most, so my choices will probably never change. Although I do still have a soft spot for Bubble Bobble, Lotus, R-Type, I.K.+., Supercars, Wings, Lemmings, Mega-Lo-Mania, Populous, The Pawn (one of the two text adventures I ever bothered to finish, or for that matter play for more than an hour). Dammit it's so dificult to limit it to 5. So many of my all time favourite games are on the Amiga. It's makin me |

Wow, lots of votes! This is great!
Some notes, as this thing is being run along APoV lines of transparency and fairness: I update the chart immediately upon the receipt of a new vote. Not one single vote has been, or ever will be lost. Not even ones for games I don't like. They are all safer than safe, once they are in my evil clutches. I know five is a small number, and that it is difficult to narrow it down to your absolute faves. But the beauty of this thing is that you can vote again next issue, with a completely different selection if you so wish. Or the same ones again. Or four the same and one different. Yeah. You get the idea. Basically, I hope that the chart will be a dynamic thing, rather than a one-off set in stone 'ultimate' list. And I figure a top 5 is quicker and easier to do than a top 692. By all means, if you have a top 692, feel free to work down it five at a time. Anyway, thanks again. The chart is looking very interesting. |

We've done SOOO many threads like this in the past and the conclusion is always the same - surely I speak for everyone when I say it's IMPOSSIBLE to choose only 5 games and feel like it's your definite list. "Top" lists are so subjective and I rate so many games as equal after careful assessment.
Look back at this thread for example! How many will dish out exactly the same top five they did several months ago? I agree with the vast majority of these lists posted so far! Great games! I'll repeat my statements and of course end with a different top five to the one I posted back then! I HATE threads like this - it's just too darn hard creating a list. Apart from the number 1 choice, I'm sure my top games differ every time I list them out. Ok, here we go. *Scratches head and changes mind several thousand times* Well, today my top list will be: 1. Bloodwych (2 player) 2. F1GP (Sub Games that could be invented plus I was a GP fan at the time) 3. Populous (Link play) 4. Stunt Car Racer (Link Play) 5. Bubble Bobble |

Bloodwych - it doesn't matter if it isn't your definite list and it's not intended to be anyway. It's a vote to make a games chart in APoV mag. It's just a bit of fun for the magazine!

Stunt Car Racer just slipped my mind. There are so many good games on the Amiga that it's easy to forget one.

I know cody and I was saying all that in a light hearted manner, but it's so frustrating trying to get it down to 5 suggestions! I already want to change that list LOL!
Great work on the mag guys by the way. My mind suffered for a good cause. |

Ok, I've just re-read cornflakes entertaining little thread starter and realised he wanted the choices e-mailed. Woops, sorry flakester.
It's also just dawned on me that this is a rolling chart, so we can choose differently ever time we're lucky enough to have APoV come our way. So I take back some of what I said! But that means I have to go through this decision process all over again in the future! You'll all be the end of my sanity APoV! At least I got a Bloodwych vote in there, even though I'm going to have to repeat vote for it to scrape it off the bottom of the pile. |

Relax, luvs.
All paths are equally valid, whether you post here, PM, email, tell me on IRC, or come up with any other alternative method. Although smoke signals might take some doing. |
