Games I cannot miss!

Hey, sorry for the flooding, but the more time I spent here the more comfortable I feel

So this thread to request suggestions. I use WinUAE + WHDLoad and downloaded Killergorilla's WHDload packs, so I have lots of games installed, and as explained before, I'm an Amiga fan that never had an Amiga himself but only played at friends'

So I'd like you guys to recommend me Amiga games I DEFINITELY have to try!

Any genre, any year, any type, just post them!

Preferably games that were never ported to PC have the most chances of me not knowing them

Any not-so-well-known Amiga game to recommend? Thanks to everyone helping me get a better Amiga culture!

Damn, could really flood this thread with games that I think are awesome but it would take way too long

Instead I just took a "dir" listing of the configured games I have in WinUAE and added that below

Perihelion, Dungeon Master, Darkmere, Dragon Stone, Moonstone, Alien Breed 3D, Breathless, Gloom (Deluxe), Academy (and the 1st episode, Tau Ceti, on C64), Crystal Dragon (I like it), Monkey Island series (I don't like it but they are history), Bloodnet, ...

Yeah silly me. I'm a terrible thread searcher, and this forum is HUGE! And don't always feel like resurrecting years old multipages threads making them barely readable...

Sorry bout that, and if you still want to share great games I should try, keep em' coming, and if a moderator thinks my thread is inappropriate as there are so many similar already out there, do what you need or want to to my thread

Cyber's right, it's not really that much. There's many games missing but I think it's a good start and most of the "classics" are in there

A few years ago I went through a phase of adding / configuring games that I enjoyed during my youth and had on my A500. Haven't really added anything since July, 2006...

You can find my 'best of' on the second page of the thread I linked to above

Like Damien said his list contains most of the classics and is already quite long

Also there are games like the ones Mazin and s2325 mentioned that are great, but not so well known. I guess you will end up with about 300 favourites yourself, regardless which genres you like

I second Captive, and also Valhalla 1 & 2, Turrican 2, Supercars 2, Lotus 2, Odyssey, Soccer Kid, Cadaver, Chaos Engine, Utopia, ...

too many good games that probably already have been listed somewhere

I did say that it's not complete and that I haven't been bothered to add anything since July, 2006.

No Damocles, Mercenary, *Captive*, Bloodwych in my list as I'm not really into those type of games. You won't find many RPGs or Dungeon Crawlers in there either
