I like it. Less pixelated but with a touch of retro feeling too. It has reminded me the logo of the Asia music band.

It's interesting that you should say that, because The same artist that did the Asia Album Covers, Also designed most of the box art and the main logo for psygnosis.

I was not aware about that info. Most interesting, indeed.

Psygnosis did an occasional revamp of their logos and I think the little round owl face got dropped in this iteration. I think later on after Sony bought them, the round owl face became THE logo but with different text stylings.

Pretty amazing !!!
But it couldn't be used as winuae filter i suppose, it's surely too heavy for using it in real time.
Perhaps in winuae in 2025. ;-)

Version for GPU is faster (but still slow) - for something faster maybe NNEDI (madVR?) can be used?
More details about Waifu2x http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/3...orithm-waifu2x

I proposed some time ago madVR as optional renderer selectable directly from WinUAE - don't remember what was finally Toni answer...

And also not sure what is wrong with for example XBR resizer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_scaling#xbr_family .

Aaa - no answer - http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ighlight=madvr - madVR can solve some problems with video rendering in WinUAE.

Love the retro versions, but I was looking for something more modern.

Here's one I found while googling - it was done by Studio Di Lena. The license is CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0. (to summarize: Attribution, Non Commercial, No Derivatives).

More info including vector files at the following: http://www.studiodilena.com/en/psygnosis-logo.html
