What mode do I burn a CD32 game in?
I downloaded a rip of a CD32 game (I believe it was either Fury of the Furries or DOTC2) and burned it with CloneCD. I tried using that disc on the Xbox port of WinUAE but it failed to boot up.
Is there a special way I have to burn these in order for them to work? |

How do I use CD32 games with WinUAEx for Xbox?
Ok, I have a couple of questions please.
I have downloaded both CD32 images and rips and have tried to run them on WinUAEx. How do I do this? The images are I believe CloneCD format. I have tried loading the .CCD file as well as the .IMG file and nothing works. Can someone give me a step-by-step process on getting these ISO's to work in WinUAEx? Thank you! |

use daemon tools, the emulated cd letter must be first ( eg D, and the real cd letter must be after emulated) and use winuae 1.0 , the higher versions have bug or something.

Hi, I’ve merged your two threads into one (which didn’t work 100% but...) and deleted your 3rd thread. No need to make Multiple threads about the same topic.
I’ve also reamed thread title to ‘How do I use CD32 games with WinUAEx for Xbox?’ and moved to » Problems > prb.OtherUAE as this is not about WinUAE but Xbox port WinUAEx |

Can't help much as I never used an XBox but it looks like WinuaeX should be able to run cd32 stuff.

Ok, I just found a new updated version of CDDISSECT which was version 1.1. This fixed my .MP3 problem. However, I had found the ISO of DOTC2 on a website. I downloaded it, burned it with CloneCD and then ripped it with CDDISSECT. The game works fine however there are no MP3s playing. If I select to load the CUE sheet it sits at the bios screen as if there was no disc put in the drive. If I select the .IMG file then it works but without mp3 support.
Any ideas? |

Litil Divil runs just fine from CD. What's causing it is most likely because of either a bad image file or a DVD drive in the Xbox which can't read CDR's. Samsung reads CD-R's just fine, AFAIK no other drive than Samsung will. |

Ok
From my experiences : Load the Cue file with daemon tools or Alcohol 120 virtual drive, then : Copy the disc just mounted with RecordNowMAX, it's the best recording program to use if you want to read your CD's on a CD32.. I've used many programs and it's the best for CD32 reading ( this program as an alternative burning method than NERO ) |

Yeah i just use iso's as you can chuck them to HD as well.
I didn't know you had an Xbox Damien , is it just your standard Xbox or you use it for XBMC and stuff.I should have twigged when you said you had completed Half life 2 on it. |

...and yes I have EvolutionX installed as the dashboard (decided against Avalaunch in the end). Also have the latest XBMC installed etc... I bought the Xbox purely for OutRun 2 and Ninja Gaiden. TBH, these days I don't really use it... Emulation on the Xbox rocks but I never use it for that... Both my laptops are plugged straight into the 32" TV and I use MAME32 with my HotRodSE... Perfect |

Recently sold my Arcade x stick as i needed the money and i want to eventually buy an entire Arcade pc setup - (when i'm rich obviously).Mame 32 is what i use too for pc , seems to be the most popular choice. |

Currently in the top 10 on Xbox live Arcade Xbox360 players for Scramble - 8th.Gamertag is Adropacrich2.Nothing special as the game isn't all that hard after a bit of practice but i'm loving just being in the top 10 of world 360 players.Only time i ever will be though as although i'm competent a player , i'm not amazing like some of these guys. Shame Arcades are so different these days , i remember walking into an arcade and being consumed with excitement.Truly cool times back then but home machines being so powerfull there's nothing in the arcades to make you jealous anymore.Lost times , very sad |
