Best WinXP program to convert .dms --> .adf and vice versa
Hey guys,
Was just wondering want you think is the best / mosty reliable WinXP program to convert .dms files to .adf files and vice versa? ADFOpus1_2.exe

for quick dms -> adf i use xdms (v1.3) but it's not always reliable, you have to watch the output especial if you batch convert...

I use winuae and err.. a Dopus4 script
 Not as quick as xdms but more compatible

Maybe dms2adf can help. Never tried it.
Edit: I tried it with Mean Streets dms. The game works fine as an adf. |

Cool thanks, I also grabbed bippym's "rename dms2adf.zip" script
Has anyone ever used ADFOpus1_2.exe before though? This looks very easy to use being an application with GUI. Guess I'm now really trying to find out how safe / reliable it is... |

I use Dopus exclusively now with winuae

Hmmm, I don't have that much experience with DirOpus for the Amiga... Sure I can work it out though
... and it can work both ways hey i.e. ADF --> DMS and DMS --> ADF? |

if I wrote the script yes..
What the script does is undms to rad and then convert the rad image to ADF It's simple and works well |

Just checked, what i thought of is unDMS. It's a cmd-line tool (bat file) that will start uae and boot a mini workbench with tools like dms etc and then convert a dms to adf this way without user interaction. Very slow compared to xdms but 100% compatible.
