Anything by The Plasma Force
I'm looking for anything by the Plasma Force, Omed Dica and Double Maniac in particular. Already have barbrian.exe :-)
They were active on the Amiga in the late 80's. Thanks! |

Great find, thanks a lot! I thought I would never see Omed Dica again. Now that I think about it, maybe I shouldn't have, hehe. Thanks anyway.
The Plasmaticdemo.dms file there has an 869kb file inside it that I can't get any program to recognize. Anybody care to give it a try? Maybe I don't have the right tools. Direct link: http://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/G...smaticDemo.dms The file called "Demo" decrunches and start to play some music but seems to pick whatever is left in my Amigas memory from the last reset and use it as samples! I recognize the "tune" though. There are no graphics either, some data must be missing, it was probably copied off of a demodisk and whoever did it didn't get all the needed data. *edit* I put a bootblock on the disk with memory selector. Disabling FastRAM makes it run, but with some nasty graphic errors. AFAIR this demo was called 'Milkshake'. I'm still looking for Double Maniac, also I just remembered a very funny soundtracker tune Donovan of Plasma Force did called 'Spasserland'. It featured the danish national anthem done with 'spaz' sounds, lol. Not sure if it ever got out in the wild though. Last edited by Sune Salminen; 09 February 2005 at 20:52. |

Meh
Don't bother with plasmaticdemo.dms, I think it's corrupted. I got Diskmasher 1.11 transferred to my A500 and it throws an error message when extracting it, and stops at track 79 none the less. The disk doesn't boot.
Diskmashers 'test' command says the archive is OK. Weird. Last edited by Sune Salminen; 10 February 2005 at 07:33. |

This file seems ok, but the unpacking failed. This can be caused by a bug in xDMS. Please contact the author I even tried with TC plugin ... still broke oh well .. i tried |

Only 1.11 is available for free. Maybe xDMS for PC is based on 1.11 too and that's why it doesn't work... Anyone have the registered version 2.04 and wanna give it a go? Grasping straws here, hehe. Last edited by Sune Salminen; 11 February 2005 at 03:41. |
