The Ultimate n00b question
OK, so I've had my Amiga running nicely for a while now, and whilst I have an extremely basic WB3.1 install (on KS3.1) I wondered if there were any preferred setups that the community goes for, and more importantly, any guides that may be lurking on these forums to achieve that setup?

http://classicwb.abime.net/ would be one of them.
http://amigasys.extra.hu/ another one. http://amikit.amiga.sk/ is also one you could try. Guess the forum's favourite is #1 though  Bloodwych (who made ClassicWB) is a quite active member here and will surely help you with any problems or questions you may have

I use amikit under emulation and classicwb on my real Amigas. ClassicWB is the classic look and feel of workbench but with all the little bits and pieces that have come out since then fall of commodore that are hard to live without. Amigasys looks great too but I have never tried it.
Definitely don't stick with the standard 3.1 disk install. It is hard to get anything working on it. |

Classic Workbench FTW! Without it I would of died
Cangrats Bloodwych on such a perfect setup  Not that I am swaying anyone's decision

Definately reccomend ClassicWb..the amount of functionality it adds to standard 3.1 is astonishing.
I use it on all of my classics. |
