WinUAE: Sumea Demo doesn't work properly

Hello guyz!

Sumea from Virtual Dreams (1996 year) running very badly.
After picture "Sumea" music still playing, but no action on the screen.
Can this demo emulated by WinUAE anyway?

My A1200+68060 does the same. Demo is probably very sensitive to timing..

I've seen the same phenomenon (on an A4000/060) a few months ago, but I was able
to find the solution:

Assign SUMEA: to the directory where the files are in. Then it will work correctly.

(AFAIK it is not documented anywhere, I found it out by peeking into the executable
binary with a hex viewer and seeing "sumea:scn1.sum" and such things...)

Yesterday I checked the demo again with WinUAE 0.8.25 as well, and it worked with
this trick.

In general, SnoopDOS might help as well here.
Usually these custom device names will show up there sooner or later in the log. Don't forget to remember to turn on lots of logging and things in SnoopDOS, otherwise it won't be that verbose.

I watched sumea on my Amiga using KG whdload version. Are the graphics messed up? It looks like the same issue as seen in the game Virtual Karting. I am watching on an LCD tv via RGB SCART.

The youtube vid of the demo looks ok.... Has anyone else noted ths?

I remember watching this on a real A1200 back in the day, And i think i had messed gfx until i had more memory (either doesnt like slow or no space to unpack the gfx in i suppose).

Disclaimer: I could be chattin bollox, it was a long time ago. But i do remember the problem gettin solved.
