Here's more for you off the top of my head:

File "TOSEC_ToBeIncluded.rar" is now in The Zone!

Guys, I'm on top of all new .ADF "game" release files; if you want me to assist you then of course I will

Maybe for now it's worth creating a DAT of my current WinUAE .ADF files and getting this across to you? Anything you miss, I'll happily upload.

Ooops, my mistake with Roketz v1.39; it's in there

Sorry guys

The best way would be to have a central collection point where you could just upload a new game every time. One directory to check makes it easier than having to read many threads.

Probably not each single user is aware of our TOSEC contribution server, online since years!
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=64668
Thread is marked, so its even on top of TOSEC thread list!

Even i didn't see this thread. Would be good if this thread is number one sticky in the SubForum.

I don't believe we can re-arrange sticky threads.

...would have to do something like:

a) unsticky all threads.
b) re-sticky all threads in a certain order.

Why do you say that Roketz v1.39 has not been integrated? It has been integrated but the files you are referring to are not. The difference between the two versions for disk 1 is mainly due to the readme file and disk 2 are different but without reason... It is to avoid this kind of problem that I prefer to temporize the addition of homemade disk

Well, considering I made all v1.39 versions of the disks... The one that I use is the final with readme + intro. Anyway, don't use it if you feel it's not required...

Ok, so have scanned my WinUAE directory for .ADFs.

You may have some already i.e. Coverdisks; only ran through these .DATs:

a) Commodore Amiga - Games - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2017-04-12_CM).dat
b) Commodore Amiga - Games - Public Domain - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2017-04-22_CM).dat

Anyway, 183 files possibly not currently in TOSEC. See attached list, some quite important releases in there...

Where do you want them; on your FTP server?
Attached Files
File Type: txt TOSEC_Missing_08-05-2107.txt (11.4 KB, 256 views)

Yup, just checked... the one you have in TOSEC is my first set that I created... it also has the readme + intro... can't remember what was changed but there was good reason...

You should remove this and use the latest one

You should know that we only rarely revoke files from the TOSEC collection

That's a real shame as you have an outdated / obsolete set...

...but if I'm the creator of the disks and inform you that there's a better set???

As mentioned above; there was good reason to update both disks, just can't remember exactly why now as it's been over a year.

If you don't include the latest then people won't get these changes that were necessary

I promise you that most people on EAB would be using the latest set...

Ok, file "DamienD_08-05-2107.rar" now uploaded to your FTP.

Use (or not) as you see fit

I have more; just need to find the time to run through your latest DATs etc...

Another file "DamienD_09-05-2017.rar" is now uploaded to your FTP.

...there may be a few files that were in yesterday's upload though.

@TOSEC guys; you may want to look at this thread Help with compilation disks and grab this file from The Zone! "Amiga Compilation Disks.zip".

I ran all 6 files through these .DATs and nothing was identified:

... Commodore Amiga - Compilations - Games (TOSEC-v2016-12-25_CM).dat
... Commodore Amiga - Games - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2017-04-12_CM).dat
... Commodore Amiga - Games - Public Domain - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2017-04-22_CM).dat

Cheers sacredbanana

While we are on the subject of .ADFs that are not included in TOSEC... It's a real shame that none of meynaf's great ports are there

Yes, I understand that there is some silly, unwritten rule that effectively means any disk which use .LHA or .LHZ compression and then extract into RAM can't be included...

I guess with a lot of the "unofficial" meynaf port disks first created by Retroplay (and then updated to later versions + readme files added by me), fall into this category. Not to mention, along with all my "HD install" --> "ADFs" packages

Saying that though, you guys do actually realise that you've include these before? Just look at the following disks for example, exactly the same principle:

... Deluxe Galaga v2.6C (1995-06-01)(Vigdal, Edgar)(SW-R)(Disk 1 of 2)[h Amiga Emulation Zone].adf
... Deluxe Galaga v2.6C (1995-06-01)(Vigdal, Edgar)(SW-R)(Disk 2 of 2)[h Amiga Emulation Zone].adf

Ah but yes, these somehow snuck in... and I guess given the following, recent quote from Crashdisk will never be removed...

All a little hypocritical don't you think???

Anyway, that's not the point of this post...

So far there are these meynaf ports that don't use .LZX files --> RAM and should be included:

... Arctic Moves
... Karateka

Tonight I have created disks for meynaf's other ports which also don't use .LZX files --> RAM and should now most definitely also be included:

... Gauntlet
... International Karate
... Joust
... Oids
... Super Sprint
... World Championship Karate [modified by TjLaZer]

The only meynaf port missing is "Back to the Golden Age". This one is quite large so will be difficult to fit onto a disk without compressing into an .LZX file and extracting into RAM. Need to look at this further...

Anyway, in The Zone! and also on your FTP you will now find a file named "meynaf_AtariST_NonLZX.rar"... There is no reason why you guys can't include these in your next TOSEC update / release

Ok, by using old school compression software, I've now managed to get this game to fit on 1 x .ADF

There are 2 versions of the .ADF (as I couldn't be bothered making a selection menu):

a) Back to the Golden Age (2013)(meynaf)(en)[Atari ST conversion].adf
b) Back to the Golden Age (2013)(meynaf)(fr)[Atari ST conversion].adf

Anyway, in The Zone! and also on your FTP you will now find a file named "Back to the Golden Age (2013)(meynaf)[Atari ST conversion].rar"

Whoopsie, just realised that I accidently uploaded my personal .ADF of "Reshoot AGA (with Flashtro trainer)" in the archive DamienD_09-05-2017.rar

Archive removed from your FTP, and re-uploading now without the above
