The "ONLY Amiga" Song! Yeah funky stuff, dig it?

I don't think this has been posted (so apologies to those who've seen it), but has anyone noticed the "only Amiga" song on youtube?

It's TOTALLY rad man, really 80's cool music. Awesome adverts like this were bound to set the American market alight back then.......erm....well.....perhaps not.

Man, I've just stopped laughing now; or crying; or both! - the backing singers had me in hysterics!

Enjoy! And enjoy quoting it in this thread - there are some classic lines!

I think we have a new official EAB tune!!

Remember - ONLY AMIGA!!!!

Cool. Wouldn't rely on any sales reps though... I trust the nerd that says "outrageous!"

Changing Minds

It's not the "only" one!

Anyone remember Changing Minds?

http://www.discogs.com/release/65816

Apparently these guys went on to produce Snap! and became very famous.

Is the video online anywhere?

Big grin Chaning Minds - Lyrics

Read the instructions on your plasma screen

store your program on disc

And now you move with the cursor up and down
left and right.
Printing directly from the keyboard

change line fourty in your program

Insert a sheet of paper and let the system run.

Face the fact you're left in the dark
with the fantastic 8 megabyte computer.
Start by checking all the connections

and now turn on the power.
While holding the bold key
activating the ram expansion port

Insert your final program
and then you press 'return'.

Changing

changing minds

changing
changing
changing minds

Changing
changing
changing minds

changing
changing
changing minds.

Read the instructions on your plasma screen

store your program on disc
. . .
Changing

changing minds

Changing

changing minds

changing

changing minds
. . .

If you have detected an error
enter the following cammand

Poke eighthundredandfiftyeight
one and two
three and four.
Pressing the backspace indicator

touch one of the red function keys

Select the background colour
the white

the black

Changing

Count these pieces of information
don't be afraid

Learn to use this computer
don't try to lose control
If you don't follow these instructions

a five pound explosive charge
Will detonate in your face
and now turn off the power!

blade, didn't notice it was you who left that comment. It made me smile first time round. Nice one!

Boing, yeah I think I've seen that one and a few others, many are classics. It was the backing tune and singers that really got me howling in this one. Plus at the end everyone praising the Amiga with upheld arms in a kind of Commodore corporate salute - it's like some sort of brain washing excercise ONLY AMIGA. JOIN OUR CULT. Great stuff.

bahaha the 80's style one was by far the best. If the Amiga were updated to use Intel Core Duo processors etc. and it was advertised on TV with that style commercial, I'd buy it. No doubt.
