Ohhh, linking to IPF's is frowned upon here Sandro, check with a mod first.

Is there any way around that without removing @kipper2k's board every time? It's quite an ordeal as the ROM chip has to be taken in and out of the board each time, and placed out and in the motherboard instead. I wonder if there's a way to patch the game... |

Try booting from HD. Open the Sytem dir and click on NoFastMem. Insert the floppy and run the delphine program. If that works then you could try to run NoFastMem on bootup.
EDIT: looking at this adf, it already uses nofastmem, did you try this one? future_wars___time_travellers_(1989)(u__s__gold)[cr_avenger][m_maimex](disk_1_of_2)-amiga.zip Last edited by Arnie; 11 June 2015 at 08:37. |

That's not right. Booting from floppy should execute the df0:s/startup-sequence.
Try typing nofastmem, then delphine. |

If all else fails then I would suggest using TUDE or DEGRADER to try and boot this game.

Kipper2k recommends I need 1MB chipmem to fix this, which I do not have. What's a recommended addon for that?

HOL says it works by simply copying files to HDD...
http://hol.abime.net/643 and it is OCS too so may just need 512k.. i'll check |

I tried KS2.05 and KS3.1 in Winuae, no go. it needs 1.3 by the look of it, mabbe early startup, selecting OCS chipset may work.

Thanks anyway. When running WHDLoad versions 3.2 or 4.0, the splash screens appear on Workbench, then the screen goes blank and the machine crashes. This seems to happen around the same point that the floppies crash too, i.e. as soon as loading starts. I never see any part of the game or the game loader.
