Pinball Prelude WHDload
Anyone got a copy installed of this game, now there's a slave for it? Would love a copy as my version of the game won't install. Thanks!

Hi Graham!
Yeah I couldn't find the installer part for this game but you should have the table files. Anyhow just make three directories (FUTU, PREH, & PRES) within the DATA directory. Copy the table files (3 each into the appropriate directory) and then copy the files 1 , 2 & 3 (Boot Files) into the PREH, PRES & FUTU directories respectively. Then rename each of these files as PRELUDE. Not sure if I can upload this game BTW It doesn't quit on my '060! Cheers |

@Galahad:
Oops! I remember you uploaded that installer a while back and I couldn't get it to work. Not having the Fairlight-cracked version of the game might have something to do with it. And all this time I thought I had it when I actually didn't. I've downloaded it now though. @cooldude: Cheers for the advice, the other version I had was on non-DOS disks (no installer or anything) so this now makes more sense |

Failrlight version is not compatible with WHDLoad version (direct disk rip vs using official install)
WHDLoad version is compatible with installed version with a bit of renaming if you installed the game using my Pinball Prelude patch on aminet (original installer uses encryption/decryption depending on the actual installation path to prevent archiving). |

Jeff, you might want to support the Fairlight version because Pinball Prelude sold virtually nothing as Effigy were not good at distribution.
shame really as I rate it quite highly |
