Request: An Amiga Music Player Set Up That Works With Win 7
After much, much messing around I find I'm stuck trying to get a single Mod Player that can take everything Amiga Music related I can throw at it. I've had Deliplayer working in the past with everything I wanted to listen too again, but even doing a clean install and using only the plugin/player packages online as recommended doesn't work, and I can't trace how I got it to correctly do so in the past.
I thought XMPlay with the Deli plugin would be my saviour, as it correctly handles SubSongs, and most of my playlist, but I've still run into a few problems there; it won't open or add to the playlists at all the following game music; * Colonization * Knights Of The Sky * Pinball Dreams * Pinball Fantasies * Silent Service And the Lemmings 2 Tribes mods just distort horribly whilst being played. Everything else was fine though, soooo close! And yet, not! So... does anyone have a simple set up they can put into the zone, which SHOULD include all the correct files to get a working Media Player of any kind? If it still doesn't work for me, something must be wrong on my system! Thanks! |

Unfortunately, nothing nowadays on PeeCee handles everything, and/or plays everything 100%..... afaik.

rjp.Killer (Cannon Fodder 2) seems to crash it when attempting to swap subsongs. Off to the main thread to bug report, thanks! |

BZR is nice, however it can't properly playback one of my favourite .mod's.. "high density.mod". There are some odd audio-artifacts in a few places in that song.

I've been using Deliplayer Pro 2.50 beta on Windows7 for years. Plays everything I've ever thrown at it.

DeliPlayer Pro 2.50 even works on windows 8.1 but you have to run it in XP compatibility mode.
