IBM 5153 CGA Monitor on AMiga
Does anyone know if an IBM 5153 CGA monitor will work on the Amiga with the a DB9 cable? I recently acquired a working one, along with a Dead IBM XT, so I would like to use the monitor with My Amiga if possible.
Thanks in Advance. |

There are separate digital RGB-I pins on the 23-pin video port, so it should be possible to build a cable.

But you will only get a few colours due to digital signalling.

Schematics bellow - being on your side i would do some conversion for analogue input but on other way perhaps it is good to keep old 5153 in original state.
