Cadillacs and Dinosaurs - Sega Genesis - Port demo

Just stumbled upon this last night.

Looks pretty neat to me, even it's definitely pretty cut-out version in comparison to the arcade original. The biggest issue I see is no running for characters, and that alone is already huge gameplay change.
I couldn't care less about BG and FG not being parallaxed.

All in all, great demo imho.

Here is the original:

And now the unavoidable question.
Do you think A1200 could do this with no issues, or even A500/1MB?

P.S. I just saw a lack of driving stage... probably too demanding for Sega.

CnD is a tough one: sprites in the arcade are HUGE, even bigger than the ones in Final Fight, so more than a port i could envision a demake; i see that in the Megadrive Version the parallax layer has been taken out, maybe too much RAM?
