Is this game and Cybernetix only resigned to those for whom are in some kind of tournament or can I enter at this point?

You can join anytime. Only during the Knockout, if you haven't qualified you are opted to observe. Knockout is only in December. Read the rules

This one is awful. I find it way easier than Cybernetix but for some reason(s) it puts me off

The main levels are fairly easy, but it's the 3rd boss that's currently stopping me from scoring more - and it's so annoying because you get so much gold/cash in level 3... grrr.

I actually achieved a much higher score, and finished the game. But I must've accidentally quit the game with the power switch instead of WHDLoad's quitkey. And I as much as I enjoyed this game, I really can't be bothered playing it agiain.
